Interior Photography for Your Portfolio

Save the Date for this upcoming event presented by, Lynne Damianos, Principal of Damianos Photography. Learn how to achieve portfolio-quality photographs of your interior design projects, whether you hire a professional photographer or do it yourself. Topics include tips to maximize your budget, what to look for in a great photograph, gear needed, how to set up and create the photographs, camera settings for interior photography, how to achieve accurate color balance and tweaking final images on the computer.

Lynne Damianos is Principal of Damianos Photography, an award-winning creative team in Framingham, MA that photographs architecture/interiors, products and people for business. She earned her BS in Photography from RIT and is a faculty member of The Center for Digital Imaging Arts at BU, Danforth Museum and Keefe Tech. Lynne is a former national board member of ASMP and Past President of the Commercial Industrial Photographers of New England. She recently published a photographic book, The Bancroft Building and Its People 100 Years of History. Lynne created the DigiGreyTM card, an accurate neutral reference when photographing interiors. Real World Design Week

ASID needs members to host shadow days during RealWorld DesignWeek, the Society's premier job shadowing program! During RealWorld DesignWeek, November 7 - 13, 2010, ASID student members nationwide will participate in one-day shadow experiences with ASID professional and allied members, as well as Industry Partner representatives, on site at work locations. The goal is for students to observe a typical day in the life of a design professional and experience the interior design practice outside of the classroom.
